Gumball 3000 2010 - London to New York The 2010 rally will leave from London on 1st May before taking in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Boston, Quebec City and Toronto before rounding off in New York seven long days and nights later. As one of the official sponsors, Monster Energy turned to us and EKKO Media Group Llc to design and develop their official website for day-to-day updates of the rally including daily streaming videos, Monster Driver presentations and check-point status reports. We are proud to present the release of our new successful collaboration with EKKO Media Group Llc - The Slash Music Experience. This new Monster Energy micro-site features a fully interactive music experience with the world famous guitarist Slash (ex Guns & Roses guitarist) . The website is intended as a promotion of Slash's new Music Album featuring a long list of other famous artists such as Adam Levine, Andrew Stockdale, Fergie, Iggy Pop, Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmeister and many more. Among the many interactive features of the site including videos, music and really cool downloads, users that buy the Monsterenergy 4-pack can register to the site using the promotional codes and enter the competition for winning cool prizes, such as a Gibson Appetite Les Paul Guitar. ]]>
This project is a Christiano Ronaldo and ULTREX micro-site that promotes an online competition for mobile phone owners, allows the users to play ball via a Flash game and learn more about the ULTREX Men's Line. We are honored that Upstream yet again entrusted us to deliver another short-notice project of this importance to them. This makes our Upstream collaborations three in total in less than 3 months.]]>

In our second collaboration with Upstream, we took it upon us to develop and design the entirety of this project. The project executes a large scale SMS-based mobile marketing campaign in Italy together with WIND. Subscribers are invited to send SMS and answer multiple choice questions in order to gather points to be used as ballots for big prize draws. Every correct answer sent through SMS corresponds to a number of entries to the prize draws; the more correct answers a user sends the more chances he/she gets to win the prizes. ]]>
This project was assigned to us by a company that up to the end of 2009 exclusively dealt with sport betting analysis and consulting in the private high-end sector. As a result of their ongoing high success rate and the increasing demand of more middle to low class enthusiasts to join their network and gain access to their long-term expertise, we were commissioned to design and develop a website for betting tip sales. The Betting Tips ATM website is a first attempt at creating a growing knowledge-base for all manner of betting enthusiasts that would like to get expert opinions on sporting events from around the globe. The website is a fully custom CMS driven hybrid site that records sporting events and their outcome, while combining an indication of the company's prediction accuracy over time. Anyone can join and based on their budget get expert consulting services for online betting. ]]>
OTE Globe's Wishpath is a concept exclusively designed by Ogilvy One and involves a promotional emailing system where anyone can send wishes to up to 5 people at one time. Dressed with music and Flash-based animations generated exclusively with code, users see there wishes as an interactive e-card where they can draw there own path as they read their wishes. Time-challenging and by far one of the most enjoyable projects we have been assigned this year. Ogilvy One's exceptional art and creativity came to challenge our development and technological know-how... bring it on! The resulting Flash project is like nothing we have seen so far in terms of particle emission and line drawing. The Labuat project comes close but works with embedded graphics and swfs while all animation components in the Wishpath are code generated and controlled. N2 is a dynamic organization that continually evolves, stays updated and trained by applying the latest technology for its customers, in order to maintain competitive advantage in the security systems' market. This project required a combination of skills and technologies to integrate all the required services and applications the company needed to offer. We successfully integrated a fully customizable E-Shop with its advanced CRM backend, a user area where registered customers can view their security system live camera feeds, keep up to date with daily security system status reports and interact with the company through support tickets, order and delivery tracking while also having access to manuals and tech sheets for their purchased products and services. All in all the website offers a huge amount of after sales services and allows users to keep coming back even after they have had their system installed.]]>
"Luft und Stahl": Air and Steel. What a fascinating concept to start a project width. Light and free on the one hand, strict and harsh on the other. As photography is what these guys do, a portfolio of image galleries was the order of the day. These guys put the 'q' in quality when it comes to their work so that is exactly what we had to make the center of attention. Navigation was also a main concern as the galleries can reach sizes of over 200 images. How do you fit all this in a page and not scare anyone that opens up the website... We would like to think we were able to answer this problem as best we could without taking away too much from either of the above two points. The site is a full flash application that hosts database driven information. The back-end is a PHP-AJAX CMS that manages all the information and gallery contents. The user area and ordering system were integrated into the CMS and front-end application where appropriate.]]>
ELKCO Marine Group of Companies was founded in 1989 by Elias L. Kyratsous to provide technical services to the shipping industry as well as to represent international marine-related companies in Greece. ELKCO has co-operations throughout the globe and is extremely active in broadening their services to meet their customers demands. We approached this project trying to break away from the usual ship-oriented "we have ships and big ships..." routine. We designed the site so that it would integrate a customized Google Maps module which is fully CMS-driven together with the sites content.]]>

We were offered this project during a massive remake of the main Monster Website amongst other things and we simply had only time to get a few hours of sleep left in the day. However, Ekko Media Group's design made it impossible for us to turn down as usual...so we chose to give up sleep. The Asanti Custom Wheel Builder is a full flash interactive web application that allows users to use there own creativity and make wheels that suit there liking. The application front-end allows customization of every possible aspect of an Asanti factory wheel, including the finish effect, color combination and accessory decorations. All wheels, colors, finishes and decorative accessories are managed through a full flash CMS in the back-end that allows the company to create, edit and delete rims, set the respective options for each individual wheel. As an added treat the experts of Asanti also have a separate section in the CMS where they can design their own ideas and display them on the front-end.]]>
IRIS PRINTING SA is the largest printing unit of newspapers, magazines, printed advertising media and books in south-eastern Europe. When we were approached by IRIS Printing SA for the design of their new website, we took it upon ourselves to create something that would not follow the standard design and outline that companies of this size usually choose. We have tried to give the website an appropriate corporate look, so that it reflects the status of excellence and quality the company deserves. We did 4 different photography sessions on-site to collect the vast sections the IRIS factory comprises of and collaborated with their Marketing Department to make a selection of the most important projects they deal with on a day-to-day basis and communicate the state-of-the-art technologies the company employes. The site is a full flash website that communicates through PHP and AJAX with a MySQL database and is supported by a custom built CMS for every aspect of the site information and media.]]>

Mapi Quintana is a young, energetic and extremely talented singer and composer. We have seen her perform on many occasions in the Netherlands and soon she will be also performing in Spain (her home country) and we hope the rest of the world. We know very well what its like to love something enough that you make it your life and how hard and demanding it is to make it successful and appealing to others. Mapi has achieved this with her music and powerful voice, so we had to do something that would rise to her high standards and keep to her traditional but yet modern way of expression. Mapi recently released her first CD in the Netherlands and Spain and we simply couldnt resist but to help her on her way by endorsing the production costs of her debut. We can only hope her music keeps on coming.]]>

To achieve this we employed a minimalistic look to the website so that the project images dominate the interface. Information and other details are depicted on a softly colored gradient so that the minimalistic attitude of the site is maintained.]]>

The Smiling Hippo took it upon themselves to catalogue and portray the most important products of the company, paying special attention to the design and functionality aspect and produce a clean, functional, informative but yet well designed website.
